Here in the UK it’s great as it’s an auto opt in system, you must manually opt out, some selfish fucks do that, however I view it as me dying in a car crash gives someone else a chance at life, I could not be that selfish twat. With modern vehicles and their protection systems the number of organs available dramatically reduced.
you give someone a chance at living their life, why would people not do it?

UK here. Here it's a little different. We have an opt out system so if you do nothing the vultures take your organs anyway. It's ironic because I used to be on the organ donor register but as soon as they changed the system I opted out. Fuck you big government.

No. I've heard that when they harvest the organs, that you're not even fully dead yet. Which scares me. I mean, I understand the patient would be so out of it that they probably wouldn't care but still.

I am an organ donor. It sounded like a good idea at the time. Now i wonder if some rich guy might offer to build a wing onto the hospital so the doctors pull the plug on me before I am dead so they can get my liver.

Of course. Hell, I've already GIVEN both plasma and whole blood. Once I'm dead, they're no good to me. If they can save someone else's life, go for it.

For sure. I won’t donate just willy nilly while I’m still alive bcs I still need my organs, even both my kidneys but have a go at all my organs once I’m dead. At least I can help out someone else in need.

Yes, I am listed as an organ donor. I routinely give blood, plasma, matched platelets, and I am an organ donor.
