Is better to regret doing something or regret not doing it?

I don’t regret not doing things that much. I see guys I like but I know they are high maintenance and I do not regret they married other women cause I was not ready when they were ready. When you think about the full cost of what you want, many times, it will remove your desire for it. Like I know people who think they want a Harvard degree but they don’t actually want that, cause it means 70 hours a week of high intensity productivity without any room for mistakes or breaks.

I'd rather regret doing something. Because then I at least have a definitive answer. I know that I shouldn't have done _____. If I regret not doing something, then I have to wonder "what if," and that's a great way to waste a ton of time.

I'm a doer and a risk taker... I prefer making a wrong call and then fix it than not doing anything at all
