Trending & News I love Lillies, I think they are a beautiful species of flowers. What about you? :)

hi, i have a beautiful to me anyway story about an olde English pink rose, with the most intoxicating scent, i cannot stop and inhale the perfume everytime i pass... both my grandmas had these roses tended to over a lifetime and when my mothers mother passed my mother took a cutting and grew a huge rose in our garden at no.31... in all of my life I've been sad not one family member took a cutting... ten years ago i moved into a house no.31 and three years ago, a lady on facebook had dug up a rose and wanted a good home, for free! i instantly had a feeling about it, it was about 6 branches two feet high, nothing else.. i took it home and planted it next to my front door... it is now about six feet across and four feet high, it has already flowered three times this year... the roses that grew the first year after planting confirmed my inner sense it was a vintage rose of the same... my own mother and my sister, upon inhaling the perfume said instantly the same... now all things in the universe are connected, and when connections are strong, my life experience where my grandparents roses to this day, make me stop, reach for a rose in someones garden and inhale,, i am thoroughly disheartened when it is a modern hybrid and has nothing natural about it, its purpose is to serve to eye of man, no insect for sure... the sadness of the loss of history, my heartfelt continued connection, i believe weaved a thread in the universe to allow the manifestion of the rose back into my life... xx
I love many different types of flowers and plants. It's hard to pick a favorite since all of them are so pretty! But I think carnations are nice. As well as sunflowers, tulips, daisies, and those tropical looking flowers (forget what they're called).
I agree with you. Water lilies are the most beautiful flower to me. I remember swimming across the lake, finding one, picking it, swimming all the way back across the lake with one hand so as not to ruin the flower, and giving it to my niece. She was amazed at how beautiful it was. Although the pink ones are nice, I prefer the white ones.
I tend to lean towards the more au natural-type flowers:

Roses. Easy to maintain, resistant like weed. My parents planted those rose bushes. There are some quite rare hybrids, like Red Erotica and Pink Las Vegas
I like carnations and roses because of their fragrance and they also look beautiful.
Red roses always! Not just for love. I love red haha.
Yep, I love Red Roses too; any kind of Rose is nice... but Red Roses stand out the most.
Red is a favourite colour of mine. When I was a child, my bedroom had: Red Carpet with White Lines, Red Curtains, White Wallpaper with Coca Cola written on it in Red letters.
I particularly love the combination Dark Red and Black (Or Dark Purple and Black).
I love Honeysuckle. Also African violets and lilacs.
I love the harebells, they're so beautiful and delicate
