For those who sleep NAKED, what do you do when the FIRE ALARM sounds?

There have been several questions on GaG about how people sleep, and many of them point out a large number of people sleep naked.

Just curious? If you're sleeping naked and the fire alarm (or smoke detector) goes off and you have to exit your home, what do you do?

I run outside naked

I keep a robe next to the bed, just in case, and put it on

When ids GaG going to update its software to use context, not just keywords? The word "naked" can be used in hundreds of contexts that have nothing to do with sexuality.

Happened once when I had hooked up with this guy and one of his roommates I met in a club and went to their place. I was waking up to shouts about a fire and there was a lot of smoke, then the fire alarm went off. I was still pretty baked and in the afterglow from sex so it wasn't as scary as it would be normally. I grabbed my panties and ran outside. I couldn't see my top, bra or skirt or purse on the way out; things had been kind of intense when I got to their place with us tossing our clothes in all directions for effect. When I heard the alarm I was fully awake as I could be - I told the guy and his roommate we needed to GO. They went out in the nude and the one put his boxers on in the parking lot. He had the sense to grab his keys on the way out. His roommate was fully naked and he and I waited in the car and we had a little fun while everyone watched the fire. The firefighters and police had a great time interviewing and ogling some of us once the fire went out.

Next time no matter how baked I am I will remember where I threw my clothes.

I only sleep naked after sex, but even then, I'll usually put on some panties before I get back into bed, but I have a nice thick plush long robe hanging next to my bed, on the last peg of my lattice style necklace hanger, and I also have some slippers on the floor next to the bed. The last thing I want in the event of a fire in a neighbor’s unit is to be standing in the parking lot barefoot and dressed in a sexy pink satin robe, that barely covers anything!

I have my own home in the country with its own automatic smoke alarms. I've never had an alarm go off at night.
I usually sleep in boxers.
The first thing I would do if an alarm went off is find out what was going on.
If there was a fire, I would have my wife call 911 while I used my fire extinguisher to try to put the fire out. In the meantime, she would grab the cat, then the bunny, then try to grab important stuff and take it outside.
If I had to get out, it wouldn't take long to pull on my pants, grab a shirt, and slip on my shoes that are by the door.

This remendes me of bein in basic training at Lackland AFB in Texas. It was suummer and very hot. The barracks was not airconditioned. If we slept with the windows open a lot of dust would blow in and we would have to get up an hour earlier to clean it all up before inspection. If we slept with the windows shut it would be hot. So that is what we decided to do. As a result everyone slept in their tighty whiteys.

We had a surprise fire drill one night and there we all were, standing outside in formation wearing just our underwear.

A few months ago I woke up at 3:30AM with the Fire Department at my door, when I answered the Firefighter told me there was a gas leak and I had to get out NOW. I keep a little silver Victoria's Secret robe (very short, barely covers my butt, lol) by my bed, the only closure is a tie ribbon around the waist. I quickly put the robe on, tied it, and stepped into my high heels I'd left out for the morning. Everyone in my building stood outside for a bit over an hour, fortunately it was 75 degrees out, let's just say I had a lot of guys chatting me up, it was interesting.

I keep a long tshirt nearby but even if i didn't, i’d run out with covers on. Then again that wouldn't happen because fck a comforter. I’m grabbing my fave skateboards and pushing my movie/music collection out the door with me 😩 Yes im that idiot

But regardless i always wear pj thin in summer but thick in winter. not due to worry about fire.

I saw pillow trik in a film. In home parents entered, so son grabbed pillow n stood covering.

I put on my socks, bunker pants that have the boots already in them, pull up the suspenders on the way down the stairs and head for the ambo or the truck depending on what kind of call it is.
We have 3 minutes to be out the door at night, so you get pretty good at it.

Been involved in a few fire alarm events, you just have clothes near by. I always get dressed to a certain level, such as putting on boots, shoes. Spending an extra couple seconds putting on shoes etc is to me more than worth it.

If there is a fire either me or my roommate will be the ones putting it out. Unless it's too big then the fire department will be called. I'll have clothes on by then.

wow... are you at the same casino/hotel as me? We had the fire alarm go off 3 times in one night, and I thought about this as well. I was tempted to just run outside in my boxer briefs and let the exhibitionist in me, shine but I decided that since so many people know me here that I'd just take a couple minutes to throw something on. Unless danger is eminent, I suggest getting covered up. :D

If I don't have time to grab clothes, I run outside naked. Everybody knows what a dick looks like. Chances are, the cops or FD will have a blanket they can wrap me in, if I really need to.

oh frakk, I misread maybe, for me it's a smoke detector, and 99.9% of the time no fire, so I just need to get up and stop the alarm myself. I didn't consider the case where there is an actual fire

And - I'm pretty sure I never heard a fire truck. There are none in a place I live :D
