For some reason, this phrase coined like this sounds very odd to me: My woman flowers? 😆But every answer here seems to be unaffected by the oddity I feel. So I guess we're really talking about actual flowers to buy... I don't think I ever bought from street vendors because I've never seen a street vendor lol. Now one thing I hate is those roses vendors going from one restaurant to another and trying to sell to any couple at any table, it's really off-putting because it's a double bind

I have before.
On special occasions, I've bought roses or arrangements from florists.
But I've also bought them at the grocery store.
I have even picked wildflowers or cut a few thin tree branches when they are in bloom.
I used to drive past commercial fields of sunflowers in my travels for work and cut some to bring home.

I sometimes do those things for no special occasion just to let her know I'm thinking of her.

we have discussed while driving and seen those who sells flowers/mangos/churros/water off the highways … if we should be buying and encouraging them to be on the street with their babies/kids. We wonder if they are legal.

I've only done that a couple times. I'd be driving home and see someone selling flowers on the side of the road, and buy a few fir my girlfriend or wife, depending on when this was. All other times, I buy flowers from a florist, occasionally online.

I always used a local florist and gave the dollar amount, with what type of flowers/arrangement I wanted. Pro tip: ALWAYS have them delivered (home or work doesn't matter). It's a nice touch that makes her feel even more special (in my experience)
