🕳️ How to handle this deep situation?

Scenario:

Say you’re walking upon an open, grassy field, or something like a park. You happen to fall into a hole 🕳️ you didn’t see before.

The hole can fit 10-15 people and it’s 14 feet deep.

No one is around, and you have no rope. How do you think you’ll handle this situation?

One where *you have nothing* with you at all. And the other answer you can *imagine having something* to help resolve this situation. Your thoughts? 💭

How wide is the hole? If it's 6 feet or less across, I could probably climb out by "walking" up with my hands and feet on opposite walls.

If it's wider than that I might still be able to climb out, but I would have to find or make holds in the wall along the way.

If the walls are too hard or too soft to climb out, I would try either running and jumping up and across the walls like parkour until I'm able to get high enough to grab the top (if it's hard), or digging a shallow hole/half-tunnel out of the wall that circles around the hole going higher until I can crawl up in it like a spiral staircase and reach the top (if it's soft).

Those last two are long-shots, since they could take long enough I could potentially die of dehydration or hypothermia before succeeding. I'm fairly confident in the first two though, since I've done rock climbing (albeit casually) for several years now.

Depends on the hole. Is it dirt? Concrete? Are there rocks in it?

Possibly, if the walls are dirt, or in bad state, you could dig it or make it crumble, to fill the hole little by little until you can get out.
