Do people strongly dislike being around autistic people?

Like I notice I somehow break norms I take my dog to a park and people ignore me and want to see or interact with my dog. Am I that low in terms of value and social standing

I have a very good friend who's son is autistic... He happens to be an excellent artist and also has an amazing memory, especially for details.

Along with countless others, I find him extremely interesting indeed.

Footnote... Not that long ago the world's strongest man (Scotland's Tom Stoltman) also happens to autistic... I feel confident in saying that he must have a hell of a lot of friends as well as followers.

Don’t take it personally. It’s not a you vs. the dog kinda thing. I don’t think anyone would be able to ostensibly ‘detect’ autism at the park. I also don’t think the majority of people have any kind of opinion about autistic people in general.

Chill people just like pets but aren't that interested in the person itself.

I petted dogs I found cute after asking but never exchanged more than a few words with the owner.

Conclusion you beeing autistic has nothing to do with it, thats just normal behaviour

No, but it definitely tries my patience sometimes. I'm more patient than the average person though, so maybe that factors in.
