That's the impression I often get from society. I'm autistic and it certainly doesn't help that I've also inherited my dad's violent temper as I've gotten expelled from high school for fracturing a guy's nose and orbital bone in a school fight after I've grown sick and tired of being bullied for what I am.
Fast forward to now, and I'm just working a regular dull maintenance job paycheck-to-paycheck and have no friends or anyone who I can personally trust in my life. I guess that's how society sees autistic folks like myself.

i think there's very much a lack of understanding or awareness about the autism spectrum, i think more people are willing to overlook/be lenient with someone who's higher up on the autism scale, but you also said you have an aggressive temper, that's not really an autistic trait, i don't think anyone would want to put up with that whether that's a disability or trauma response or anything
Never said aggressive temper is an autistic trait. Just saying that I have the misfortune of also inheriting that from a parent, and combining a violent temper with autism isn't a pretty result.
thanks for clarifying, i think it's the aggressive temper that may make people reluctant to get close to you not the autism, and i don't think it's something that's generally inherited, i mean yes but that also just sounds like a lazy excuse for not changing your behaviour
I was gifted high functioning autism when I received the MMR shot against my will, was temporarily paralyzed from the waist down. The nurse said that she didn't give a fuck and slammed, locked the door.
Sounds like you're just an angry asshole that was treated horribly. If you are even kind of autistic you'll care less about my proposed judgement and notice I used 35 different words to answer this question!
