Why do I get disheartened when I hear people don’t like autistic people?

I attend university and I met a couple of great people and there’s this one girl that a lot of people was so cool. She is funny, sweet, optimistic, fashionable, girly, sassy, sarcastic and can be a flirt at times. She’s thin, 5’5 according to her, but in good shape. No wonder guys like her, unlike my fat, plus size, unfit, overweight tall (5’10) ass. Anyways I thought she was so cool and I admire her. Her and I don’t interact much but she interact with some others we know. I was going to my summer class and I overheard what she said that broke my heart. She said that autistic people annoy her. She dislikes them and doesn’t understand why people think they’re so special and she doesn’t feel uncomfortable around her. She was working in a classroom and this one autistic kid she said was a nightmare. She gave autistic people a chance but it didn’t work for her and they make her feel uncomfortable. That broke my heart…. the thing is, I’m autistic myself and I was crushed. She disliked autistic people. I wish she understood not all autistic people are the same or violent. My peers don’t know that I’m autistic and I’m not going to tell them. She doesn’t know I'm autistic so I won’t tell her either. I don’t want to introduce them to my parents because I know my parents will tell them about my autism. What should I do? She’s a very friendly and sweet girl.
