So Adam Had An Ex? Her Name Was Lilith?

I just found out today that Eve Was not his first wife. That there was another woman called Lilith. Who probably demanded equal rights or something like that. So adam divorced her and went on to date eve. Is that true

Lilith was indeed Adam’s first wife, made from the clay just like he was. She did indeed want to be treated on an equal level to Adam, but there were multiple issues. It depends on which story you look at exactly: some have Adam refusing to allow Lilith the power to name the animals and earth as he did, causing issues. Others say Lilith was seduced by the serpent into total corruption beyond just eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. Others say Lilith was demanding and cruel to Adam as she wanted her own power. Regardless, Lilith became the first demon, the first corrupted soul to be banned not only from the Garden of Eden but from the plane of the earth itself, damned into Hell for her transgressions along with Lucifer.
