What do you think of the cradlewise baby crib?

Parents really gonna feel finessed about this one lol, So it's a crib that has an AI system involved and has several features that will help parents take care of their child at night, it's meant to help parents sleep better at night, it's AI system can detect the baby's motion and can detect when it wakes up, if it does then the bed starts to gently shake to put the baby back to sleep, it's got its own app that counts several things like how many times the baby moved over night, how many times it woke up, how many times it cried, it even detects the motion of the babys torso movement and counts how many respirations per minute, it's basically a smart crib, it also has cameras but I'm sure you've already assumed that.

if I have gotten up in the middle of the night for my cats, and dogs... I am definitely going to take care of my own baby, lmfao

but also... let's be real, there's just so many reasons why a baby would cry at nights, and the solution is not "just put it back to sleep" lol...

- separation anxiety
- pain or illness
- dirty diapers
- teething
- gas
- fatigue
- fear
- nightmares
- growth spurs
- colic

- (and if they have my genes) they might be fussy AF just like I was

I heard somewhere that it also has a crying detector where based on the cry, it knows what it wants but I don't know how true that is

that's BS for sure... but it would also be a very bad idea, to just assume that some pseudo/intelligent machine knows better and to just go with it... lol

even the doctors do miss it sometimes... some more serious stuff with babies that just won't stop crying for longer periods of time

All I know is that parenting can't be easy and this technology has potential, having such techology doesn't mean you have to stay and sleep but it helps, you can monitor it through camera, if the baby stops crying then you know the problem was simple.

Elon made a good point. What if you ask AI to solve world hunger? Then the AI solves it by killing us all. Having mixed emotions is good, so that's why they need to slow it down, before it's too late.
