Why do people avoid others when you’re grieving?

I mean I did get support but most people just looked at me shocking when I came to work four days after my dad passed away two months ago. A few coworkers gave me a hug and said condolences but most everyone else gave me NO condolences, a hug or even a card. Nobody! I mean hello? I just lost my father. One of my elder coworkers said her condolences but was moving away from me. She said my dad is in a better place and quickly movies away from me and didn’t bother to give me a hug. I understand there’s things to be done but come on!! When my older brother passed away, NOBODY gave me condolences or even a card at the job I was at before. Even the boss didn’t. I was ignored and pushed away. Even my own boyfriend ignored me when I needed him the most. My mother and I don’t m speak anymore because she blamed me for my brothers death. Like really? So my relationship with her is thrown out the window. We haven’t spoken in five years so I was 20.
I got triggered when I see someone get a card or condolences and support. Like the most kindhearted people get the most shit poured on them!
