In your opinion, do you think that it's disrespectful for a woman to call another woman sweetie during a conversation to keep it lite sounding?

I call a lot of people sweetie, not everyone, but sometimes to keep it sounding lite.
I was calling the front desk to let them know that someone keeps putting a huge cement block to prop the back door open and drug addicts come in on their bicycles in and out every single day. I'm sure they are buying drugs from my Nex door neighbor.

They have been adamant about making sure that door is locked and shut all the way to keep anyone that doesn't live here from coming in the building.

I live in a very dangerous neighborhood with dangerous people and that door is open and right below where I live. They take the back elevator up and go right next door to me. It's very uncomfortable for me to have to pass by them in the hallway because they don't live here and they are sneaking in the building.

Anyway, the beoge at the front desk got her panties all twisted in a wad and got mad at me for calling her sweetie during our conversation and said I was disrespectful and that she was going to disconnect.

No one likes her. She is so rude to the residents here and gives us misinformation every time we need an answer about something or report something.

So, is it disrespectful to call another woman sweetie when I call a lot of women sweetie and they don't have a problem with it? She's probably one of those weaponized feminists!! 🙄🤬
