Most people that you encounter during a day are interacting with you not because they love you but because we need each other in a way or another.
A butcher is not going to give me a steak. He wants money for it.
A postman does not deliver letters because he/she wants to give love but because the job description dictates it.
A doctor is not going to perform a surgical procedure on you but because he wants to make money on your poor health.
More than 99.99% of those people worldwide don't care about you and don't love you. So yes, it is perfectly possible and there is a valid point in living a life without people loving you.
