Why do people have kids not knowing what happens to your life?

You get no sleep, you get post patrum depression, no time for yourself, lose your patience. Etc. It's a nightmare.

People see a cute little baby when they are out. They think about how much fun a baby will be. Nobody ever talks about 3 AM feedings or colic not to mention all the poopy diapers. Then when they get older you need boatloads of cash to buy clothes and all the other junk they need. I won't even talk about college.
