Why do people insist that life should stop after you have kids?

vivek ramaswamy, elon musk, donald trump, ivanka trump, alina habba, kayleigh McEnany, vivek's wife is a surgeon who saves lives.

I'm sure all of these people work a lot and barely have much time to see their kids...

but they still work a lot because they have so much to contribute to the world.

Its the people who have nothing to contribute to the world... who stay home wash dishes, clean toilets, play with their kids...

Its these very same people who insist that parents should focus most of their time on the kids... because they know they would have nothing to offer to the world any way

When I was between 5 and 10 I used to get beat with a belt black and blue and it hurt but like the last day to eat spanked me I told him I wasn't going to cry anymore and I just had tears pouring off my cheeks and he asked me why and I said you can't tell someone you love them and then beat him up and make me have black and blue marks all over me and he got ready to hit me again I just stood there and you just do the belt against the wall and locked up you never did hit me again but a few months down the road my mom and my stepdad got divorced

I couldn't wait to have kids at the same time I was scared to death was I going to be just like him or was I going to be me and I wanted to teach everybody in the world you do not have to yell you do not have to scream you don't have to embarrass you don't have to hit you don't have to treat our teacher kids how to even do that cuz that's not discipline at all and I raised my kids to be very very good human beings I made it tough on them in a lot of different ways when they did something wrong I didn't have to yell and scream I would say psssst. Hold my finger in the air and say come here in that motion I wouldn't even say any words they would walk over to me I would say hey would you guys doing and then I'd say since your property or whatever it was

That was happening and I say is that your property didn't check their head now say no I said well if you break it who's going to pay for it and then I'd say think before you do go have fun.
Or other times if they did something stupid and I just wanted to teach him something I wouldn't take away anything from them I wouldn't tell them to go to their rooms I really even discipline them but what I would do is give them more responsibility I would explain why they were wrong in my eyes and that's about it they knew wrong from right we all do but what I'm saying is you put a foundation on your kids you help kids succeed in every manner growing up you show them kindness love you show them how to treat people and they will do good and both my kids went to college I paid for the first and second semester my daughter got a grant and my son when he told me that he wanted to go to college I just kind of like looked at him and he asked for help and I said okay here's the deal you graduate you don't have to pay me back if you don't graduate you owe me and you said okay and he graduated he's a fireman paramedic I'm not rich but there are so many things in this world to do with your kids and teach them without even teaching them you just show them who you are and how you treat people and they will follow if you're angry they're going to be angry if you keep falling down they're going to keep falling down but if you fall down get up and keep going forward they see that and they're going to do the same thing I know what you mean I tell people all the time you better have a brand new house you better have 250,000 in the bank if you're going to have kids they cost a lot but if you do it right it doesn't I'll say anything but love really

what keeps kids in poverty from generation to generation is the parent's inability to prepare their children for a successful life. this means having a decent education. if you cannot ever pay for your child's trade school / college education, your kid will lead just the same broke shitty life like you. While all the other kids are busy having fun studying in college, your kid is making 6 dollars an hour at mcdonalds. Unable to pay rent, unable to raise your grandkids, living life daily worried if they can pay their next month's rent.

I'll see you can see it any way you want to just like everybody else just like me but if you don't give your kids a room to grow and to explore and to experience because they do have a mind of their own your job is only to give them a foundation rules ethics morals values but you let them grow into who they want to be because they know exactly what they want and if you show them the way to get it they will do it they will become the best they can become if you set that foundation but you have to show them hard work you have to show them discipline you have to teach them everything because they're an empty shell and if you just allow them to watch other people talk crap and manipulate b******* their friends their parents and that's who your kids will be. how many-sided kids do you have by the way

there is a reason why kids born to rich parents tend to do better in life than kids born to poor parents

the reason why you are broke and barely have any resources to provide for your own kids... is because your parents were broke.

like i said... you cannot make your kids 10x more successful than you if you do not have the resources to adequately prepare them for life...

growing up under poverty is traumatic... when your daughter's glasses break and you can't afford to replace them... or when your washing machine breaks down and you cannot afford to buy a new one... when your son needs a new coat while its snowing out and you cannot afford to buy him a a new one

Well here's the thing is if you read my questions in my answers about having children you will see exactly what I said you are portraying me for somebody that I'm not and you're reading into nothing that I had said or done let me try this again
If you're going to bring a child into the world you better have a house first you better have a good job you better have insurance you better have a car and insurance you better have medical and you better have $250,000 savings in the bank that's number one
Number two your reasoning for having kids is because you want to bring somebody into this world you should them moralss values and ethics if you cannot do this

Then you should not have kids kids should not be brought into this world from being a mistake and if they are you better do everything in your world possible and make that mistake 10 times better than you

Yes I do realize that and I agree with you 100%. That's why you do not have children not unless you are set up for them and you prepare yourself for them to make them become better than you that's all I'm saying look there are children in this world that I feel so bad for because of who their parents are and because they didn't even try to make them become better than themselves I hate that more than anything but what I'm also saying is that it is the child's that understands this and after their 18 and have to move out that they realize this and change themselves become better and stronger not blame their parents even though it is true but just move on in life and become the best you can become just because you don't have good parents doesn't mean that you cannot change the whole dynamic of everything and when you have kids you do it the right way that's all I'm saying it does take a lot of things to raise a child especially if you want to do it right but if you're in the circumstance that you're not financially able to you figure out a way to make it work no matter what I know people

Kids born to poor parents usually don't end up going to college. What usually happens... is they start working at mcdonalds for 8 dollars an hr by the time they turn 18. While other 18 yr olds are in college, building their dreams. I grew up under servere poverty, but I was only fortunate enough to attend college, because my city is financially well off and has tons of grants for poor people to attend college.

But had I not lived in a financially well off city, my college experience would've just been a dream.

Poverty is a form of child abuse. And its great that at least some parents, like you, recognize that children do need adequate resources to grow up into successful people.

You have no idea, I have spoken to many parents in the past, who don't think kids resources, who don't think money is important to preparing a child for success. It is sickening... This is why poverty tend to run through generations.

it takes a lot of hard work to get out of poverty... I have spent my entire life trying to get out of poverty... focusing on my education... now I have made it.

Can I ask you what kind of degree did you get in college I love your passion because it's true it's real and our government hands over so much money to fake things that the good old boy system in our government has friends that own businesses and they get these grants to do these things like counting the lines on a butterfly you know 22 million and that just really pisses me off and what really pisses me off to is how they cut all the resources off from schools to teach our kids what they need to be taught to become better people in this world smarter people look at Japanese or Chinese kids they have every resource handed to them from their government because they know the importance of who these children can be somewhere down the line where our government doesn't want our kids smart because they want to control them they have sold this out they have bankrupt America and the most important part of America are our children I don't understand where they're coming from but I think with your passion and the way you see things I mean that's why I'm curious on what degree did you get because you are the type of person that we need to be a voice and I guarantee you that there would be people walking behind you and it would just keep building and building and building because adults parents parents are people without kids can see and feel the same thing and everybody wants to see children succeed

Life does not fucken stop after you have kids… that’s such a moronic statement. You have the responsibility of raising and loving that child to become a well educated, hard working, and contributing member of society.

Then once they become successful and independent you will be close to or around the age of retirement. And will be able to relax and enjoy the last few years of your life doing things you’ve wanted to do. Most commonly, travel to places you’ve always wanted to see.
