I’m referring to people who tell you that “you’ll change your mind” when you tell them you don’t want kids, or even get angry about it. Why do people care so much about other peoples personal choices like that?
They actually don't care at all, yes they may judge you and try to encourage and tell you to have kids or to not have kids but after that discussion that person leaves and won't think about you and your child situation for more that a minute.
So just do what you want with your life if you want kids do it if you don't then don't, you don't have to listen or even consider people's judgements of you and their suggestions, those things mean nothing at all and they hold no significance if you give them no significance.
I think because parenting gives many people a tremendous amount of joy. Also because it’s mostly true; most people do change their minds as they get older.
