Depends on the situation.

Shopping / Getting Food

Person A: Do you want this?
Person B: *Shyly* or *Confidently* "No, I'm ok."

Depending on the body language, tone and how long you've known the person they could either really want the item or just really don't want it.

Sex is a but different but not really.
Again just like the above body language, tone and knowing the person. And if you're still not sure next time you have time just ask the person if they want any safe words to say during sex to mean stop, go on I'm oknor a slow down. Something easy is like stop light colors.

Obviously this requires both parties to be in tune with their body and partner's body or not could be a one night stand I don't know how y'all get ur rocks off. Anywho the one receiving could say no but their body language says other wise. In this instance it's a swift question is this a red or yellow?

They could say red for full stop of action said action and switching to somthing else or a full stop of having sex. This depends on what was talked about before hand.

Or they said yellow. Could mean a slow down with what your doing orrrrrr slow down I want to change positions or whatever the case may be.

So overall it depends on:

• The situation
• Body language and tone
• Person and how long you've known them
