Your friend knows you better than we do. Your friend is probably right that you don't NEED a lot of smart watches, or any at all. But if you like them, and can afford them, then there is nothing wrong with it.

Should you care what they think about your smart watches? No. If the two of you are friends, then such a thing won't really matter.
