Do you usually write in cursive or in block letters?

Definitely in cursive!! Always!! But I realize that not everyone can read it, so sometimes I have to go with block style.
I called the post office 🏤 and asked them how do the younger mail carriers read the addresses if they are written in cursive and they can't read it? They replied "They go by the zip code". 🤷🏼♀️
@12karen
I learned years ago that the schools stopped teaching in cursive. However, they have recently started teaching it again.
When people were asking what cursive writing looked like to them (because they didn't know how to read it) they said that it looks like scribble to them.
Interesting huh?
It leans more toward cursive. Violet was my old name on another site I used to use.

I can write in cursive, but I prefer block letters. And I write in all caps, just taller or shorter to signify what’s capitalized and what isn’t. But it comes out much more legible. I have very good writing in print, but my cursive is kinda sloppy, so for everyone else’s sake, I print.
Well, see for yourself.

Yeah well, lol. I can't run away from them.
Thank you :D, I wrote it in a rush so it doesn't look too tidy.
Looks better when I write it calmly, will show you my digital electronics notes someday, if possible (not sure how though!). It's easier on the eyes. :D
Lol.. The threshold is set to being merely readable :`)
Nice idea! You're a student of French or a French yourself?
Someone is studying Electricity and Magnetism.
I used the Griffith book and remember not liking Bessel functions.
@I_am_a_human yeah, it's complete electromagnetic field theory. Not much of a fan of it. Too many formulas. 😐
Bessel functions seep in everywhere :`).. Communication systems, EMFT... Yeah, it sucks.

cursive, and I'm a doctor at heart...
not a cardiologist, lol... I mean, I can write very simple and fast, and sometimes ends up looking like cypher
does depends though, because I am into calligraphy and I also can do it very neatly in few styles as well
cursive... I think :D
your K has a split personality :D
yes it does...
@NathanDavis lmao...
Just regular writing like how I do on here, I never liked writing in cursive but I can read and write it, it’s mostly women that would take the time and write like that, if I did it people couldn’t read it
Cursive is how I write. Way faster and it just flows better.
I was taught cursive, and still write with a fountain pen. My 11 year old niece has got me teaching her to write cursive now.
Cursive. I was taught to write cursive with fountain pen in elementary school.
I print.. I never use cursive besides for my signature lol
Block, but I tend to write my name in cursive.
I usually write in almost illegible chicken scratch!
Block letters, usually all caps, which I can barely read after I write it.
I usually type if I want anyone else to understand it...
I handwrite as little as is humanly possible. I type about 90 wpm, and it's always legible.
If I must handwrite, it's usually printing, but I can do cursive if that's called for.
If i was still in school I would do all my homework in Russian cursive
I nvr really thought about it but I text in letters so not cursive.
Tbh, seems like only time i write now is for work, and since it's for kindergartens it's never cursive
I write the way I type on gag but of course it looks a little different. Everybody has their own style
Mostly cursive
I can write faster in cursive but it feels more tiring and also less readable so I write in block letters specially on long notes
I think cursive is a dying art. Like letter writing.
I usually only write in cursive if I have to sign something but I usually just write in print
Block / script hybrid that looks like I had a seizure...
Cursive only.
Blockletters is simply RUDE.. Cursive
Cursive, sometimes a mix with printing
Why would I need to write anything? Technology has made that largely obsolete.
I'm doing a weird mix of both
block letters.
I use a keyboard.
Block letters all the way for me.
I use a mix if both. I don't care!
I guess kind of a mixture
They don't even teach cursive anymore..
Depends on what I’m writing
Block printing.
