Celebs for ME... yes. Most have been magicians or well known artists in animation. I met Ray Harryhausen, and he looked at some of my artwork. Sadly, this was before smart phones, so no one got a picture. But this was HUGE for me. I grew up on the guy's movies as a kid.

I met a few voice actors; Samuel E Wright, Nancy Cartwright, etc. Cartwright was cool. We both got into a brief conversation because she's a fan of animation, and I was wearing an Incredibles T-shirt (Brad Bird directed the movie (He's also the voice of Edna Mode)); and he had worked on the Simpsons for a little while.) Samuel Wright (Sebastian from The Little Mermaid) was cool, and seemed really happy to meet people, sign autographs, and get pictures.

I did meet the members of the band Alabama - this was the only disappointing one, because we waited like three - four hours in line for just a name sign (no personalization, no photos allowed, and it looked like they'd rather not be bothered with any of us... but then maybe it was just a hard day...) all we got was a generic "Thanks for coming." mumbled from each as they signed our albums. Four hours in line for 30 seconds and then get kinda "handled" (pushed out the door)).

I've met dozens of celebrities. Maybe hundreds. Most were musicians, too numerous to name, but plenty of actors and sports stars. In fact, I have 2 retired MLB players as customers.

Nearly every time I have flown out of SFO, I had celebrities on my flights. I've talked to Dave Chapelle for half an hour waiting for luggage, and almost as long with Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Brent Spiner (Star Trek), Pauly Perette (NCIS), and Michael Pena (actor).

When I lived near Morro Bay, my girlfriend at the time worked in a boutique in Cambria, and the movie Arachnophobia was shot there. The prop people had bought items from the boutique, and we ran into Jeff Daniels at a restaurant. Didn't see John Goodman, unfortunately.

We ran into Steve Martin and Daryl Hannah filming a movie in San Francisco one night, but didn't actually talk to them. We also saw some filming of the second Matrix movie when I was working in Oakland - they shot some scenes right down the street from my office.

If you are in the Bay Area, especially in San Francisco or Oakland, you will eventually see celebrities.

Kansas, Cheap Trick, Blondie, most of King Crimson, Teddy Pendergrast's drummer, Devo (sort of), Joydrop, Shadowfax, Earthworks, World Diary, Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sultan, Dave Matticks, Richard Thompson, George Carlin, Dr. Demento, Weird Al Yankovic, Fishbone, Henry Rollins (opened for us one night), The Fixx, Steven Wright, Rick Rockwell (went to high school with him), Jesse Gress, Larry Fast (Synergy), Doug Henning, Alice Cooper, Angel, Dickie Goodman's son, Jon (I helped him write his book), Chris Miller, Kristian Massere (did lots of voice work in one of his movies), Sinbad, Chris Squire, John Entwhistle, Steve Howe (almost), ran sound for Julian Lennon, Johnny Winter and ran lights for Adrian Belew. Probably a few others I've forgotten about.

Harrison Butker and I go to a lot of the same churches and we follow each other on Instagram (had he not been in Georgia visiting family, he said he would have been willing to be an altar server for my wedding in 2019!).

I've met all the members of Alter Bridge.

I don't know if he'd be considered a "celebrity" per se, but I've met Cardinal Raymond Burke a handful of times. I also had a close encounter with Pope Benedict XVI once, if that counts.

probably but not anyone that i liked. i did get to say hi to judy greer and i love her! that was pretty cool. i did meet liz phair. yeah... i've met some "celebs" but they don't really stick in my memory unless i want to meet them.

I liveinSocal and have lived in various parts of it for many years (Malibu now, previously Laurel Canyon, Beverly hills, and near Hollywood & Highland), so seeing and occasionally meeting people that work in film and TV as actors and many other roles is really not a big event for me. They are just people.

I met Mark Harmon once. I repaired a leather jacket he owned when he was in town shooting a movie. He actually came in the store to pick it up.
