Have you met any celebrities?

The only celebs I met was when I went to Dragcon last month and met about 26 different queens from Rupauls Drag Race, I also met the judge Michelle Visage.
Its not like the queens are A listers or anything but the show has a shit ton of fans and they’re people I’ve been watching on TV for years, so I think it’s pretty cool 😅

It was also so weird how casually the queens were walking around. Like you’d be standing outside and then all the sudden a winner of a season will just walk by you.
I also went to a club to watch a drag show after and there were like 4 different Ru queens there out of drag standing next to me. It was crazy lol

I went to a Keane concert in Vancouver with my best friend and we met the band (English Rock Band). Lights, was opening for the band. She is a Canadian singer.

There are also a number of celebrities from the area I lived on Vancouver Island, like: Barry Pepper, Kim Cattral (Samantha in Sex in the City) and Pamela Anderson. My homeroom teacher told us she was in her class. Out of those, I've met Barry Pepper, who was the sniper in Saving Private Ryan and tons of other stuff. One of my bestfriend's ex-girlfriend's younger brother who is an actor. His name is Gig Morton and he was in a Canadian comedy series called Mr. Young on Disney, he was in a number of the Air buddies movies and a bunch of other stuff.

I went up on stage when the mentalist Spidey came to our town. He had me pick a card, then he had me rip a corner and hang on to it. Somehow the card ended up in the center of an orange 🍊 and the piece I had fit perfectly with the card. My Fiancèe also went up and did this other cool trick.

I went to Taylor Swift concert and we were really close to the runway that leads down from the stage. Shawn Mendes opened for her and he was just starting out his career. Crazy how his career really took off and now he's well known all over the world.

I know quite a few friends who have met celebrities like Kevin Costner, Robin Williams, Back Street Boys, Lady Ga Ga, Gordon Ramsey and bunch of others. Another one of my bestfriend's ex-girlfriend's won a trip to Amsterdam where she got to see Lady Ga Ga perform and got a bunch of signed stuff. It's cool too, thinking about all the celebrities some of those celebrities have got to work with.

Wee Man, he came to my town like 15 years ago to do a meet and greet to promote the opening of a new skate shop. I got a high five and my Jackass 2 DVD signed. Then he was supposed to put his hands in some cement at the skate park, but he was tired, so he ended up just coming back the next morning, and there were almost no people except a few locals, so it was very intimate, and he ended up signing more shit and skating with some of the locals.

I also happened to live in the place where they filmed "Wild Justice", and I ran into some of the wardens from the show on a couple occasions, and one of them came to my class once.

Oh, and once in Salt Lake City, I walked in front of Bobby Jindal's limo with a video camera, and he rolled his window down and waved to me.

And I had some teachers and classmates who were extras or had small parts on Chips and Springer.

Aside from that I've seen celebrities, and was apparently even in a plane with one, but I didn't officially "meet" them.

I was on a flight with Lauren Hutton. We were stuck in the aeroport on a small Caribbean island because the pilot had too many hours and it was the knock on effect of lightning that hit the tarmac days before in Florida. She was in the VIP area but would emerge every so often to bitch about where TF the plane was.

She was in front of me getting her hotel voucher when we landed in Puerto Rico. She was really pissed. Us peasants were pissed but not demanding things.

So I technically never met her. She smokes a lot!

I met Drake in a when he was still a local celebrity and would hand out his mixtapes in clubs and so on.

I've spotted and ran into minor celebs that aren't worth mentioning here.

A friend in university ended up sleeping with
Dustin Diamond when he came to do a stand up gig. She got some weird rash afterwards. So I never met him but she sure did!

I met these guys from an italian tv show, a famous french actor (jamel debouze), a belgian minister and a famousish female singer from some european country (i didn't know who she was, i just knew she was kinda famous, but this was like over a decade ago so i really don't remember anything)

Sort of. One of my old friends is related to the Turtle Man, from the Animal Planet Show, Call of the Wildman. He sees him at Family Gettogethers when he visits his family in Kentucky (they're apparently all rednecks, lol).

I have met a very famous Chinese celebrity who did my grade 8 prom make up and hair for free but I did not know her because I rarely had time to watch Chinese movies and she was beautiful and virtuous too. I also met at least two Christian pastors that had been on television.

i met one of the original founders of mortal kombat who did all the original martial arts in the original movies and played all the original classic ninjas. Super nice guy talked with him for like 10-20 minutes.

Not anyone super famous. Just known on the local scene. I was at a music festival had a Dio shirt on. We're waiting for a band to come out and this guy comes up and he's like "oh nice shirt man, Dio is awesome!" And we chatted for a bit then he left.

My buddy was like "DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT WAS?" I was like no I don't

He goes "THAT WAS THE DRUMMER!!!"
