No one has the right to receive intimacy in a marriage. It is not part of a contract that stipulates that intimacy has to happen. This is something that people in relationship automatically assume. I have yet to see a marriage contract that states that intimacy is an integral part of that contract. You can marry and have no intimacy and that contract is just as valid.

In your question, what exacerbates the relationship is the fact that the spouse is a cheater, a thief and an emotional abuser. That is another aspect of the marriage contract that is never stipulated because it is, again, something that should not happen in a marriage.

Withdrawing intimacy is only one way to deal with a liar, cheater and thief in a marriage.

Its a loaded question, I think anyone should have the rights to not do what they don't want to do and that goes for any individual weither it's in a relationship or not, although I do believe intimacy is important in a marriage, what he does is also a threat to the marriage so the woman not wanting to get intimate because of that is pretty much going to lead to the same result anyways as it seems the spark is fading if it hasn't already

Unfortunately my husband is a full blown gaslighting Narcissist. And I know that I an trauma bonded to him. But knowing it and ending this marriage is filled with so many other variables. I am 61 disabled in a way that I can barely walk from one room to another with a cane. I can not stand more than 10 minutes until extreme pain is such that if I do not sit I will fall. My hands are not much help as they are painful as well. Fighting is a daily occurance. I used to just cow down and cry. But I now am quick to snap if I hear any hint of disrespect. I have told him to leave as I own our home outright and entire contents also vehicle. He refuses to leave and in the state of Texas I can not make him leave unless lawyers are brought into the mix. He fails to absorb my words when I tell him all I ask is that he shows respect and just be nice to me. That is all I ask of him and that if he could do so then I would be inclined to oblige. But to no avail... he can not go more than 12 hours until he's being a hateful a**hole. So now... Do you still think he is entitled to sexual favors when daily he ridicules and belittles me?

How long you both been married Hun? How did you get all this fragility? Think he is going nowhere , sounds like you must proceed with divorce , no other option.

Cheating: yes if it was one or two times, with a younger hottie, he would have simply followed nature. Otherwise no.

Liying: if lying covered cheating, ok. Otherwise no.

Insult: if insults are only during sex, lloke a kink, ok. Otherwise no.

Steal: no excuse for a man to steal from his girl. I would excuse a bitch stealing or getting money from her man, but the man cannot steal from her girl. He needs to gain his bread.

Of course, also being violent with the girl would be inexcusable (unless she gives consent, for sex).
