When you were growing up as a child/teen who was the weirdest kid in your class that you remember in those years and what were they like?

TL;DR At the bottom.

For me, it has to easily be this kid back in my middle school 7th grade science class. I was 13 years old at the time, so was he.

He acted like he was severely mentally challenged but he actually got really good grades and when he was around his family he acted normal and intelligent. He only acted that way outside of his house.

He gave himself the nickname "Mr. Brain Hair" because he had an afro that was split in the middle and according to him "his hair was split in half just like the two halves of a brain." And he was oddly proud of the fact. He kept saying he was "so smart because his hair looked like a brain."

But anyway, all day in school he would keep making annoying stupid noises. He would just keep laughing to himself and speaking gibberish. And when he would speak he'd speak in the most intentionally stupid sounding voice ever. And this would distract everyone around him, students and teachers alike. And so he was often in dentention a lot for distrupting the class.

He would also randomly start shit with people for no reason. Like I remember this one time he went up to a certain kid he didn't even known and started touching that kid's lunch, refusing to stop even when the other kid said stop, and then the other kid began to beat the shit out of him. But the whole time he wasn't even trying to fight back. He just sort of began touching the kid's face in a weird way but without even trying to punch him or anything.

I was friends with him somewhat. I thought he was insane even back then, but I didn't have many friends anyway. And one day I went to his house, and at home he acted surprisingly normal. I asked his mom about it, and she was like: "Oh yeah I know, he's a weirdo. At home he must behave or he'll be punished. Outside the house though, I don't care how he acts as long as he gets good grades to get into a good college."

TL;DR For me it was this kid who just sort of kept laughing and speaking gibberish all the time.
