Like for example. I'm extremely bored and wanna do something. Watch a certain TV show. Play a certain video game. Play a certain sport. Listen to a certain song. Hang out with a certain person. Eat a certain food. Do any certain any activity. In my head I'm just like "OMG OMG THIS IS GONNA BE SO MUCH FUN!!! 🤩🤩🤩" But then when I ACTUALLY do it I'm just like "ehhhhhh... 😐" and can't wait for it to be over as soon as possible.
Like the activity is not necessarily straight up bad, it's just simply alright/mediocre/okay and not nearly as fun as I wanted it to be and it's making me pretty bored. In the end leaving me extremely frustrated because I was expecting a lot of fun and happiness and instead just got boredom.
I have pretty severe depression, that could be an explanation for me feeling this way. But I was wondering if other people felt this too.

There is nothing more tedious than watching sport or playing video games, and I have tried many times.
Yeah, it's kind of true for the most part for me. I keep waiting for the pleasure or dopamine rush to kick in, but it never comes.
Yes, but that's life. We try things and some we enjoy, others are "meh."
True. Though in general the weird thing is some activities I enjoy one day but not the other. Like I'll play video games one day, find it extremely boring. Then another day I find it extremely fun. Then another day I find it just medium. And sometimes not even changing the specific game. So could be all those mixed feelings for the same game. So I guess it might just simply depend on mood as well, lol.
