How do you feel about the type of person who swears several times in every single sentence and literally can't go a single sentence without swearing?

Like I know some acquaintances who are literally like:

"So fuck. I fucking woke up this fucking morning and it was fucking bright as fucking hell in my fucking room. Then I fucking got out of my fucking room and fucking went to use the fucking bathroom. Then I fucking took a fucking huge fucking shit like you fucking wouldn't fucking believe. So fuck. Then I fucking went to fucking eat fucking cereal. It fucking was pretty fucking good. Then I fucking left the fucking house to go to my fucking stupid ass fucking job, and that fucking brings us fucking here!"

Like they can't even describe their simple morning routine without swearing like 5 times in every single sentence.

In the beginning I used to think swearing excessively like this was kind of rude, but literally so many people do it that I've become completely desensitized to it. Now I just feel neutral towards it I suppose.

There are also a lot of studies which suggest these sort of people are extremely intelligent, though I don't know if I buy it personally. I don't completely doubt it but a lot of the people I know who do this come across as anything but smart. Like they were the type to slack off all the time instead of doing whatever task they were assigned.

Sounds like you know the guy I was gonna talk about. Almost every other word that comes out of his mouth is some form of, "fuck". Sometimes, he'll be telling you something and if he gets stuck on an idea, while trying to formulate the next word or so, he keeps repeating, "fuckin'".
Fuckin' yesterday I fuckin' went to the fuckin' store to fuckin' get some fuckin', fuckin', fuckin', fuckin', fuckin' apples...
Sometimes, he'll throw "fuckin'" into the middle of another word, "yesterday" becomes "yesterfuckin'day".
I have no problem with people swearing, it's just words and the only way words can hurt you is if you give them the power to hurt you. I swear a good bit, myself but, I mostly tend to keep a civil tongue. If I'm around people that don't swear, I don't, either unless I'm really pissed about something. If I'm around people that DO swear, I swear, too but, still OCCASIONALLY!!
But, to listen to him talk, you quickly lose sight of what he was talking about and start to only focus on the words he's using. It kinda becomes annoying.

I have a bad habit of that, when I get excited about something, or really invested in telling a story.

Not quite as bad as your example, but I'm concious of the fact that I'm doing it, and try to control myself so that it's not as bad.

It's a habit I picked up while working in an auto shop, because everyone talked like that, and it just kind of stuck.

Exactly! For middle schoolers who just learned about swear words it's fine, but for grown adults who should've already left that "edgy 12 year old phase" a long time ago it's sort of cringeworthy. It also makes me think they're rather unintelligent if they literally can't ever describe ANYTHING as something other than "fucking." Like fucking isn't the only adjective that exists ya know?

Excessive swearing indicates a limited vocabulary or an inability to express themselves effectively in other ways. It doesn't be much for their IQ level.

I agree 100% pretty much! On a general level I don't mind swearing, but anything in excess is bad. And those studies that say people who swear a lot are smarter scream bullshit to me. The only logic I can maybe see is that people who act like swearing is the end of the world aren't smart. But excessive swearing also isn't smart, so... yeah, lol.

Haha, fair enough. Words are just words after all when you really think about it logically speaking. The only decent reason I can see against them is a lot of people tend to swear when angry and they don't like being around angry people, or swear words being used in combination with other words and slurs to incite violence. But other than that no good logical reason to take offense.
