People still have not received Christmas packages yet and now people didn't receive their social security checks because of the US Post Office. Why?

Maybe the post Office should be privatized and Trump's administration is suggesting. These people cannot live without their social security checks and rely on the United States Postal Service every month for their food, rent and medicines.

Can’t answer your question. But we sure pay through the nose for the service! At the rate of postage increases. It will soon cost a dollar to mail a letter!

Anything that the government gets involved in. Usually cost more money. A private business usually cuts waste to bring down costs. But still needs to maintain their profit margins to pay the stock holders.
Would you be able to mail things cheaper? Probably a flip of the coin. Though I have known of mail that went all over the country before ending up pretty much next door! Talk about added cost!

I don't know, but I am 1000% opposed to privatizing the USPS. Private corporations have been drooling over it for years.

No idea. I usually get things I order from Musician's Friend in about four days. The last two orders took three weeks and then 27 days. They shipped on time but just took far longer than normal.
