No. Learning the Social Security department has a cut off of benefits at 115years does though. How many of us will be wheeled, or hopefully walk, into their offices (if they still exist) with proof we are 116 years old?

That basic intel makes you wonder how many more functioning years do we have left before our bodies fall apart and we become reliant on others to care for us until our ends.

Some get lucky. Some do not.

"Forever" is a lovely thought if it means holding onto now the entire way.

Not particularly. Depends on the context. If someone says they want to be with be forever, that's flattering and I appreciate it. If someone says I'm going to jail forever, I'm shitting my pants... might as well suicide there. If someone says I'm I'll forever be remembered, again flattering. If someone says I'll burn in hell forever, I'm annoyed.

When I think about it in it's truest sense, that forever is all there is & all there will ever be. Then yes. It scares the fuck out of me. Imagining something that will never not exist is absolutely terrifying.

I wouldn’t say Forever can scare someone but more so it’s a very loaded word because what does Forever mean to that person? Not everyone would interpret that the same because Forever can mean however long we go or even beyond that. For example in marriage we say “till death do us part” but we very much know there are people that will part for very little so it’s more so holding someone to that standard and then being able to fulfill that.

Yes. I don’t know why, but it does.

Not from a commitment standpoint, from the word & its meaning standpoint.

Like would you rather have a pen ink stain on your clothes that last until you wash it or one that lasts forever? See. I’d rather have the freedom to wash it away, if it ruins the clothing material forever then it makes the clothes worthless. Maybe that is how I interpret the word forever, who knows.

Yes, It's a term of Perpetual Continuity.. and extends beyond life..

Even if Vow is of "Forever" marriage Certificate should have a 5 or 7 Year term.. and ve renewed Again and again..

Also at time of Marriage the Alimony and maintenance should be decided before Marriage!..

Nope. Doesn't really make me think of anything in particular. You could have a meeting that takes, "literally forever" which is just mildly irritating. You could be talking about being sent to a lake of fire for an eternity which likely would be quite frustrating. You could be talking about vampires that live forever, which I think would be pretty dope.

Adding up on what @islathewitch said, I'm not really scared by the word, but I can be scared by people believing it is a promise instead of a wish.

nothing lasts forever even the universe, that's why this term is an imagination rather than description of a never ending state.

No. I'm a person of habit so forever sounds comforting to me. The only thing that scares me is other people's motives. You can know someone 10 years and never really know that person. Thier entire life can be one big act.
