I've heard a lot of those before. I think her confusion is down to him speaking fast so she hasn't time to think.

If I'm curious about a word I type it in Google followed by etymology eg cargo etymology. It'll give you a flow chart of how the word came to be as well as its origin

I guess someone had to ask these questions and take over for George Carlin because these questions are exactly the same type of questions he would use in his comedy routines.
