Would you support severe punishment for spamers and how severe?

I'm getting sick of these spams and they are getting more sophisticated. Older people could easily be duped by these people and that's pathetic, abusive, theft. We used to shoot train robbers and bank robbers, it's the same thing.

Didn’t see this until now,

These scams are mostly on the other side of the world from America and it is difficult if not impossible to hold them accountable.

A lot of these scams are done by those in scam centers that send out mass messages that are meant to scam vulnerable victims out of their hard earned cash. Why? Because there isn’t jobs or good education in the area to combat this, so these folks are poor and need money to support their family any means necessary and probably won’t even be paid a fraction of the price the “company” gets. To combat this system, we need to punish the guys on top not the bottom pieces and support job growth so none have to stoop low & education so they can move up the social ladder.

Punishment, if it is an individual of the lesser should be no time in prison since they’re struggling and just wanted to get by while the top guys should have their business licenses revoked, money taken away, and a long damn time in jail.

(I know there are also other scammers that work alone and self employed in the ‘art of scam’ so those people obviously get the ‘top guys’ punishment)
