Western laws are too soft. People that commit horrible crimes should be treated like lab rats and then eliminated through capital punishment.

In all cases except for sex crimes and hate crimes, all criminal acts stem from external environmental factors, usually addiction or lack of finances if not just mild traffic laws. They can all be handled safely with proper rehabilitation and assistance. Harsher punishments do not make things better, if anything they just make things worse. Very few people commit crimes and feel no regret or remorse about knowingly doing something wrong, they should have the opportunity to not only take accountability but better themselves so it doesn’t happen again. Suggesting that just killing everyone who commits a crime is not only massively inhumane, it’s a terrible solution. It solves nothing, it changes nothing except creating a culture of fear, which inevitably leads to people fighting back to stop feeling afraid. It would be undone within 2 generations. Not to mention a death sentence for running a red light sounds exceptionally harsh. And if we’re not talking more death sentences and rather higher fines, that creates an unfair financial disadvantage for the impoverished community, which is already over-policed as it is.


The only exceptions to rehabilitation are sex crimes and hate crimes as these stem from internal factors rather than external.
