I was pulled over for the first time last week.

And I’ll admit that i was in fact driving like a douchebag so I deserved it 💀💀

I’m not gonna lie, I like driving fast 😭 i don’t get the opportunity to drive fast often because 1. my car is older and she can’t really handle going too fast.

2. I’m not gonna speed when my kid is in the car. And 3. The highway in my area is considered the most dangerous spot of all of I-95. It’s very curvy so I’m not gonna risk speeding over there.

my friends and I went on a mini road trip last week and I was driving my friends car. So I was like “bet, imma speed”

I was going 90 in a 65. Which is horrible, don’t do that kids lol. It’s dangerous, it’s reckless, it’s unnecessary. I was just being stupid.

there was a black car in front of me and I was literally about to go around them. And I didn’t realize it was a cop car until it was too late.

so I got pulled over obviously. She was like “I should arrest you right now. even if I lied about your speed, it would still be a $300 ticket. I’m a homicide detective and I’m heading to a homicide right now, I don’t have time for this.”

and she let me go.

So shout out to whoever was murdered because you saved me from going to jail. Love you. Rest in peace!

and thank god it didn’t happen just a couple days prior because we were smoking weed in the car (not while driving) and it daaaaanked for days. And that just so happened to be the day it finally stopped smelling

OMG yes. LOL Well over a couple dozen times in my life. All for speeding except for once for crossing the double yellow line while straightening out curves in the mountains. I was speeding then, too, but didn't get ticketed for that.
I never got any tickets for running stop signs or lights or doing anything unsafe.

My second car, when I was around 18 years old, was a '63 Buick Le Sabre 2 dr hard top with a 401 cu in engine. I christened it the Bismark. It could cruise fast. My next car was a souped up, semi-race, '72 El Camino. That car was fast and I thought I was Johnny Race.

Back then, police records weren't digital and they didn't notify your insurance company. So you could just pay the fine. But at one time in my early 20s I got a letter from the DMV saying I had 12 tickets in three years and my license would be suspended if I got more than that in a three year period.

When I was 26, I got a job as a motor vehicle damage field adjuster/appraiser. I drove around 50k miles a year going all over to inspect damaged cars. They gave me a new, all expenses paid company car every 80 to 100k miles. They were good cars, not pool cars. I even got to choose the colors.

But with all the freeway and country miles I drove in those cars over30 years, I got several speeding tickets trying to make it to appointments and trying to cut down on time wasted driving. I wasn't allowed to have more than three points per year, though, so I tried to be careful. And I did attend traffic school several times to get the tickets of my record.

Some cops were really cool. I have lots of funny stories.

My current car gets quite the attention now that i put some work into it. Got pulled over for last year twice for expired license plate sticker. The cop was nice. He waited 30 minutes in a plaza parking lot until i got back on the main road. Gave me a warning and that was about it. Earlier in the year i got pulled over for a load exhaust. Cop said i caught his attention and some other b/s. Gave me a ticket which i requested to fight and haven't heard from the courts since. Speed hasn't been an issue thank god

nowadays I am more tame 😂

one thing I noticed are those who are swirling around in front of me… I just assume that they are high… and hope they are not crazy drunk or on hard drugs.

Yep, pulled over bc I was caught talking on the phone in a state with a hands-free law. My roommate was in the middle of a mental breakdown and I was just trying to talk her through it on my way to work. We did succeed, but the cop wasn’t gonna care about that so I got a ticket.

Been speeding three times but one was in Romania so it was dealt with unofficially with €20.

The others were in my home country at about 8.30am where they pulled me for doing 42 in a 30 going to my military base. The other was doing 118 in an 80 (km/h) on my motorcycle and that was after he dropped it below 120 which would have been a more serious issue.

Other times were random stops here where they can do so on a weekend morning checking for drunk drivers and they breathalise you then send you on your way or arrest you. Got cautioned from a police officer after I did a wheelspin outside the police station (on a hill so more acceleration needed) and when he spoke at me through the window he saw beer cans I was off getting for home on the seat and AGAIN cause enough to breatlise me, lol.

Yes, i have been pulled over a few times. We had a big blizzard here a long time ago. Cars were not allowed on the road for a few days. I went to visit some friends the first day that we could drive. I got extremely drunk and was driving home. Snow was piled so high it covered over a stop sign and there were cops hiding across the street. I did not come to a complete stop and suddenly the cop car appears and pulls me over. I thought I was going to get a DUI for sure. When the cop came over to my car I just rolled down my window a half inch and stuck my license and registration through the crack. I was afraid to say anything because he would figure I was drunk. He just took my stuff and went back to the cruiser. About 15 or 20 minutes later he comes back and I open the window slightly and he just passed my stuff back to me alonmg with a written warning. He told me to come to a complete stop from now on. I just said "Yes Sir" and I drove off.

LMFAO! I was pulled over speeding wearing nothing but a bathing suit still wet rushing to my BiLs place for a broken water supply valve that was flooding his house. Told the cop the deal and pointed to my toolbox in the backseat and pleaded that were wasting time. Totally cool 😎 n understood the assignment n let me go with a warning. First & only cool cop I've met in my life.

My stupid ignorant BiL now knows where the master shut off is in his house. How do people NOT know this shit?

I drive slow because it's not worth it. I heard if you have some tickets on your record they can increase your insurance premiums and not only that but the next time you renew your driver's license they can force you to retake the written or driving test and knowing myself im a horrible test taker so i don't plan on retaking those again so i just take it slow.

I've been pulled over many many times and always for speeding. I've always said I was going faster than the speed I was actually going and they let me go. Until I moved to a place where everything was photo radar and couldn't talk my way out of a ticket.

My friend was in his car as his brother drove (they are Puerto Rican). White cop stops the car and starts to hassle the driver who remains silent. Cop tried to provoke him but the guy remained silent. Cop then demands ID. Turns out the driver was a police lieutenant. When the cop saw the ID he clammed up and drove away.

Quite a few times. Never for speeding, couple times for crossing solid line - never got a ticket for those, and the rest were dui stops. I work weird hours so am often out and about when nobody else is

yeppers, in a semi, John Deere 4520 tractor, motorcycles, cars, pickups, single axle truck, my tri axle dump truck, but I have only received a couple 2 3 tickets.
