Because lying is not a good thing at all in a relationship period , if a partner can easily lie to you , then they can easily lie about other things to you as well. For a relationship to survive , trust and honesty is important , if you don’t have trust and honesty in your relationship, then that isn’t a relationship, it’s more of a convenience over anything else
