That really depends on what went down and your level of communication.
I dont trust my boyfriend to do what he says when he says yeah I’ll do xyz, because he has a history of forgetting and procrastinating. We had a clear levelheaded discussion about both our feelings, now we see what happens. Im currently looking at a 60lb bag of animal feed i asked him to relocate for me days ago as i really didn't want to lift it. I need it in the next hour, looks like im moving it

Depends on how the trust was broken. If it’s minor like they lied about hanging with friends or spending money on some dumb stuff, it’s fixable. If cheating, there is no hope. You will never trust them again even if they act right going forwards. And you will always hold it against them. If you have children then it may be worth salvaging. You’d have to make him be completely honest. Access to his phones, and the rest to give you comfort for at least a year. And you should give him access to yours. It will help you trust better.

You find a way to rebuild and they work in equal measure for your forgivenessand even harder to rebuild your trust.

Alternatively you can save yourself further heartache by leaving them.

Your choice- but it takes two to rebuild what's been broken.

    I don't.

Then again, my level of trust in my partners is very deep. If it's broken, it's not coming back. There's so many steps before my trust gets broken, and so many times I'll have warned them, that if they break it I know they're bad news.

It going to take a lot work, patience, and forgiveness to do that. But if you feel like trusting them is impossible again, then sometimes it's best to walk away.

I don't; if you break my trust, then I'll never be able to trust you again.

Because we love each other very much and have a pretty good relationship.

Love cannot exist without trust and as easy as people make it seem, once trust is broken... it takes a miracle to build it back up.

I'm not talking about cheating. Breaking someone's trust is not solely about cheating.

Please protect yourself from getting hurt, even if it is to happen again. once you master it. You’ll know if you want to give chances or not. Until then I’d say no.
