Can you tell the time on a regular clock?

It seems that 1 out of every 6 people can't tell the time or struggle to tell the time on a normal clock, so can you tell the time on a regular clock? with the lines and everything? I've heard that apparently even some schools are removing clocks cause people aren't reading clocks nomore, I expect to see anyone 4 to 5 years younger than me struggling to read a normal clock.

Of course, I have a wall full of analog clocks, I think they're beautiful. Yes, I'm a nerd! The only digital clock I consciously look at every day, is my car radio lol I even set my phone to analog! I just asked a question a couple days ago about Grandfather clocks. The clocks with Roman numeral's are the best!

I think it's because analog clocks come in all different shapes and sizes and framing and are very decorative. A digital clock is just a digital clock. I remember when I was little, my dad had a beautiful wrist watch, with a black leather band and gold trimmed with black hands and silver numbers... It was just unique I guess, because at that time everything was digital.

We just started the unit on time. We are teaching first graders how to tell time by the hour, half hour and we will make a paper clock with paper fastener next weeks.
we also teach the difference between a digital clock and an analogue clock.
and no… we are not getting rid of our analogue clocks in our cloakrooms. Where did you hear these from?

Yea and they did used to teach them, I don't know why they are removing them, maybe it's a minority of schools

Yes, I can. I can also tell time using the sun and I'm accurate to within an hour or two. It gets a little trickier at night though.
