He said "is it for a clock?"
I said "I don't know, that's why I need the battery.
But can you tell the time?
"Fun fact. In many European languages the word for Bell is cloch, klokke, klok, Glocke etc so 7 o'clock actually means seven on the bell"
Which is because for centuries, the local church was the "clock" for a town, ringing the church bell at certain times of the day to notify people of the time. Modern clocks are only a couple hundred years old, and of course, they were originally only attainable for the wealthy and connected. Everyone else relied on the bells of the church.
For many many years while in the Navy, I used A exclusively. My watch was a 24 hour watch in two time zones. So I could tell correct military time while working, and could tell what time it was at home and day or night. For B and C you need to add AM or PM to know if day or night is being referenced. For D, get a talking clock and remain ignorant.
I hate half past seven people because they'll say something like "qaurter past 4" and I have no idea what they're talking about. I'm dumb! I grew up with a digital clock don't do this to me!
I use both the 12 hour and 24 hour clock. For work and for dealing with most people, I use the 12 hour clock. For National Guard drills and active duty periods I use the 24 hour clock.

I used a watch all my life but haven't had one for years. I rely on my phone. But I've been wanting to get a watch again. It's nice to be able to glance at your wrist real quick instead of pulling out your phone.
I use 12 hour time. Saying zero nine thirty seems military to me. When someone says 1900 I have to do math to figure out what time it is. LOL
I also say things like twenty after ten or quarter to one.
I generally look at the position of the sun and factoring in the latitude of my current position, determine my relative position longitudinally. I then factor in the offset from the easternmost point in the time zone I'm currently in. With that information all determined, I look at my phone and it tells me the time.
I hate the damn 24 hour clock and always need to do math in order to convert it to what I'm used to. I hate the f*cking "word clock" even more though and it requires translation of the terms PLUS math solving! Just say the f*cking time and don't make me solve math problems in my head!
I don't understand the question.
I use a clock. If there's one handy, I might use a sun dial.
There's also a glockenspiel which partly gets its name from it being a series of tuned bells.
Why they've recently started calling a gun: a glock, I have no idea! It doesn't tell time except when it's time for someone to die and it doesn't ring unless you use it to shoot at a bell.
@Red_Arrow News to me! I don't know shit about guns. I've been asking for years what a glock is and nobody could ever tell me.

All you could want to know about Glock
@Red_Arrow Thanks! I think I already know all I care to know,. now. My thing is music and records!
@Red_Arrow Probably, it's closer to my fave instrument: drums.
"Fun fact. In many European languages the word for Bell 🔔 is cloch, klokke, klok, Glocke etc so 7 o'clock actually means seven on the bell,"
Funfact part 2 : cloch, klokke, klok, Glocke etc
Looks like someone is choking on d! ck and making that noise lol and dick is referred as ding dong same as inside of the bell 🔔🤣 or the sound it makes 😎β°
You can tell the weather sun is positioned what time it is
I know if you can see the sun it's summer
My Rolex watch says you don't have any underwear on. It must be 15 minutes fast.
I can tell time but it gets me know where but when time tell me it gets me everywhere
I was laying in bed one night just staring at the wall I forget what I was thinking of but I heard this voice say
Time is Time!
That has NO Time
12-hour clock e. g. 7:30 is how I tell the time in America
I usually think in 24 hr time and convert it when telling someone the time. But in my head itβs 24 hr.
No one is on time, here. Telling the time makes no sense.
If someone asks me ''what time is it?'' I some'times' reply with ''May'' (or whatever month we have that... 'time').
I can tell the time in any of the A, B (with AM, PM), C formats. I prefer the 24-hour hh:mm<:ss> clock (A).
standard analog watches, but at the firehouse for reports we use the 24 hour clock.
I always have to do math to figure it out.
half past seven at night but i use a standard clock with two hands and a digital with just 4 numbers my phone talks to me the time and computer botom right corner
I'm accustomed with 24h clock and most people in my country will say 17:00 instead of 5:00 Afternoon.
There wasn't a box for all of the above depending on the environment.
24 hour time and by how many hands the Sun is from the horizon during the day
I have always preferred to tell the time when I I cum twice inside my cousin.
AM to the PM, PM to the AM, funk...
I can read a analog clock
