  Wherein life is unfair for most of us plain Janes, and those that benefit without the work put in oftentimes are right under our noses. As a western society we cater to their subliminal messaging in catwalks, films, restaurants, etc. all without the rage that many an ordinary or simple woman haven't found to reason with.

  But it's there like a splinter in your finger... a quiet resentment that only inner healing and personal work could ever make right. It's nothing the other woman did to you or about you but you instinctively know the society is working against the authenticity and value of women who don't fit a certain physical type or mold that the men in that society favor for reasons that are primal, instinctual, and ingrained since they were young about the conditioning or mental priming through TV, ADs, etc. it sickens women and justifiably most women likely would relate to Les Miserables both in its book and film format.

  Which was why the movie became so lauded (popular) and sold well. A lot of women and some men related to its themes, suggestions, etc. that it said about western society.

  It was, by the French term, an invaluable critique (insight) into and about the injustices and inequalities within modern western society that permeates all stratas of socioeconomic statuses. Women of this society know it all too well, and even resent the men who partake in it, and men feel it too... it isn't right but nonetheless it's the reality in which is lived in. Pretty privilege, as Americans like to call it.

  Which is why so many western women spend so much on make up. It's a billion dollar industry and that money goes right into the pockets of the very people the general population of women of this society hate on.
