How indebted would you feel to someone who saved your life? What would you do for compensation?

My late boyfriend did save my life twice!!
On two different occasions I was eating rice once was white rice 🍚 and the other was fried rice.
Both times the rice got stuck in my throat and my throat (or the rice?) got swollen and stuck in my throat and I stopped breathing and couldn't swallow or drink anything.
He ran into our bathroom and grabbed his toothbrush 🪥 and shoved the handle doww my throat which unplugged my throat and saved my life.
My hero*β£οΈ
He got anything he wanted from me after that!!🙂

RIP Patrick John 🧸💔🍪🍪🍪
Considering that I'm the type who has a "long memory" when it comes to gratitude for services rendered, I'd probably stay friends with that person and help them out when they needed me, though not doing anything that would lead to a toxic association.
Very indebted. I don't know other than make a pest of myself praising them until they yelled to "STOP IT, OR I'LL KILL YOU MYSELF!"
Like an episode on the Andy Griffith show where Andy saved Gomers life. Gomer wouldn't leave him alone. Cutting firewood, picking Opie up when he fell down roller skating, and referring to him as lifesaver man. So Ang concocted a way for Gomer to save his life but Gomer was so dumb he screwed up and Andy had to save his life again. Heh 😂
So you'd show gratitude by pestering them? Is that right? π
Fair enough π
Very much so, and especially if they had risked their lives also.
Of course I would stay in touch if they agreed, and offered my help when and whenever indefinitely.

Well what do you they want? I think I would ask them that and see what they ask for in return
Very indebted. I'd first offer money
What if they don't want your money?
