Car organization tips?

Got my new car! It's so great but since its smaller than my old car and has significantly less storage I've had to do some organizing. Started with the boot (trunk for Americans) and put all my reusable bags in a box.

The glove box is so tiny all that fits is the cars manual and my compact umbrella. Had to put the first aid kit in the passenger door. There is no center console just little compartments, so I've got a little makeup bag with some stuff in it.

Maybe eventually we will fit a center console, or maybe I'll get one of those organizers that go on the back of the seats. Thoughts? Opinions?

Really don't need to keep so much stuff in the car so maybe its a good thing! One thing I do need to find some space for is the deicer spray

My own cars -when I still wanted one- had been 'empty' until the moment the Missus came along.

Where... your own boot looks reasonably ''clean''.

Anyhow, there are ways to extend your loading capacity

I actually did a whole vehicle survival kit in the back of my hatch.
I use a car organizer with various things and have a Jerry can stuck back in there.

I think it would be a good idea too look at Amazon for both... center consoles, and also for compact car organizers for the boot?

even some of them look like the cats would love it too... lmao

These organizers that go on the back of the seats are great if you have little kids. Some also come with a foldable section that resembles a table.

Other than that, there are also organizers for the boot.

It's good to get rid of things you don't really need.

Why do you need deicer spray in the car? You should be able to keep that at home and just fill up the car's blue water reservoir when it gets low.

De-icer spray not window wash fluid. It's a spray you spray on the window when its frosted over. Easier to keep it in the car

I have 2 small duffle bags , They have jumper cables, duct tape, tire inflator, Rope, bungee cords, plastic tarp, and some tools. I keep them bungee corded in he back of my pickup bed.

Used to have a Chevy Suburban. That thing was so big, I drove around with a washing machine in the back for a couple months before putting it in storage and it didn't even matter

Definitely a good idea. Way better than having them thrown all through the car lol. It's just one of those cube shelf pop up boxes too so super cheap. The bag hanging from the back has all the smaller totes
