I only had a complete flat tire once several years ago. I did not have an electric inflator at the time so i used a bicycle manual pump to air it up and it was a lot of fun. Since then, I bough a electric 12v inflator and keep it in my car so if i have a nail or screw in my tire I pump it up until I could get it to the tire shop.

Personally I have never had a flat tire. I have only changed other people's flat tires.
