Recently, there are have been a rash of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, more than expected.

What do you think? How adventurous are you?

I don't care to be anywhere near an erupting volcano.

Having lived in California all my life, I have experienced lots of earthquakes. Most of them were mild.
I've never been in a dangerous place during a strong earthquake. It would suck to be in a place where there was a landslide, earth opening up, buildings crumbling, roads collapsing, or gas mains exploding.

I have no desire to experience anything cataclysmic. I'll watch it on the news.

By the way, I did get to see Kilauea erupting and shooting lava into the air. And we went to see its lava flowing into the sea. It was pretty awesome.

I've experienced both and although not earth shattering, (pun intended) it was kinda impressive just how much power there is within the earth's crust. I'd rather not have to go through a serious one though.

We only get crappy little earthquakes here in the UK, usually you don't know until its on the news then we all moan about sleeping through it or thinking it was just a lorry driving past.

I think a volcano would be more spectacular to witness but I wouldn't want to be too close. Well done for surviving Iceland by the way, I was about to ask "did a volcano get Tom?"

I've experienced both, and if I had to pick then I'd like not to experience it again - I'd prefer sitting on my couch and see it on my news.

Since I live right on the Sandraes fault line I will probably have a front row seat until I fall into the big Crack!
I have no desire to be anywhere near a hot volcano. I don't need my hair singed off!!

You can easily survive an earthquake if you are outside. A volcano will kill you.

Most volcanoes are pretty safe. I could probably personally observe anything less than a plinean eruption. Pretty sure most earthquakes are pretty safe too, if they don't happen in your home.

I'm okay with an earthquake as long as it. Not around tall buildings. I'm staying as far as I can from volcanoes. I guess in the end I'll hear about it here or on YouTube.

I live in California and we have earthquakes here all the time. Earthquakes scare the hell out of me. I've never been close to a volcano and I don't ever want to be close to one as that seems like it would be even worse.
