What’s your opinion on people abandoning their pets?

Be careful in your assumptions. A lot of cats are also in my neighborhood and none of them are “strays” a lot of them have houses already and they’re just allowed outside. Aside from that? They’re feral, in which case they’re not and never were a stray. There’s a surprising amount of feral cat colonies about, depending on the neighborhood you live in

I grew up near an old barn, and people would drop off kittens and drive off. There must have been 100s of them abandoned there over the years. How those people sleep at night is a mystery to me.

They're assholes. There's never a reason to abandon your pet in the streets... You could even find someone that you could give it to for free, it's not that hard...

Cats reproduce quickly and most of those cats are feral... they've never been pets. Totally wild animals. Some areas have large cat infestations.

They couldn’t care less but there were several cats elsewhere that are not feral. They’re friendly and playful.
