I provided a fleet of leased Range Rovers to my executives a few years ago.
They (the execs) felt special like royalty & VIPs.
However, there were so many reliablity (unreliablity, to be more precise) issues.
I didn't approve the aquisition (after the lease) and had them all returned.
Yes, you are right. I actually mentioned this in my comment below. The L322 model is the most trouble-free. I recommend you take a look at itđ
They look nice, but they will eat you alive in maintenance costs and frequently have mechanical problems that mechanically "total" the car not long after the warranty expires.
There's a reason you can buy a 2015 for $2500.
They are mostly for wealthy buyers who can afford the massive depreciation and who will trade it in after 3 years. A 5-year-old RR that's reliable is the exception, not the rule.
They're decent, prefer the older country ones rather than the newer city ones
My friend in rentals had a couple, he sold one during a fleet update and the other personal one he sold against his Mercedes because the Range Rover insurance shot up after a massive spate of thefts
I understood, brother. There are no car thefts in my country.
Well my husband has a Range Rover Sport which to me is just some huge great tank of a machine, and although I can drive it, I much prefer letting the "boy and his toy" enjoy doing the driving.
Hahahaha allright
Range Rovers are indeed quite stylish and have a reputation for luxury and performance. They're known for combining off-road capabilities with urban sophistication, which makes them appealing to many. If you're looking for a blend of style and functionality, it's a great choice. Enjoy the ride! 🚙â¨

They are hideously unreliable. Worse than a drug addiction. My 2002 Lincoln Navigator has driven 50K miles in 2 years with only normal maintenance and new tires. I paid $3500 for it. You will spend that in repairs every two years. after you pay $100k for a new one. Telling you to run is the best advice you will ge short of not marring my ex wife.
I understand you. Yes, some models are very problematic. That's very true, but the L322 is the least problematic of the Range Rovers. The engine and electronics were made by BMW. Only the suspension can be costly, which is a serious chronic problem with the model I chose
Is that like least dangerous of mass murderers? Buy a LEXUS.
I'm not liked japanese brands
Your choice, your wallet.
Some of the main models , as well as the velar are manufactured not far from me. Not a choice Iâd make to be honest , just looks like a big box with wheels but each to their own.
They look nice, you will probably never drive it, they usually live at the mechanic shop.
I can say that I did a lot of research before asking this question. The L322 model Range Rovers are less problematic than the others. The engine and electronics were made by BMW. Only the suspension can be expensive, but I don't care about that. Prestige is very important to međ
It's not that bad. But if you need to bring one to the mechanic, it's going to be expensive.
@DryGermanGuy in these models: The suspensions last 5-7 years. This corresponds to a cost of around 75,000 Turkish lira, but that is not importantđ
Yes, but i know that when it comes to reliability this is the car that will usually be the most unreliable. I guess if youâre rich and donât mind how expensive it can get itâs fine, but if youâre talking about prestige basically any other car is more reliable than a Range Rover. You can literally go for anything else, BMW, Mercedes, Audi. Even the older Mercedes can look really nice and if you take care of them they last a long time. But if you like the look of the L322, maybe a Jeep. Iâve also heard Range Rover is one of the cars people steal the most, but I would assume itâs the older models.
I donât know, but I have a Broadway, I can provide technical documentation about it. Range Rover seems unnecessary.
Fun to drive, but insane fuel consumption (petrol). Also quite high parts/repair prices.
The L322 model I mentioned is the most trouble-free of all Range Rovers. You're right, but shouldn't a person's car be a little flashy? I'd like to buy a Toyota Corolla and not have to go to the repair shop, but I hate the look of the car
BMW manufactured the engine and electronic components of the L322. Therefore, it does not have the same issues as other Range Rovers. The suspension may need to be replaced every 5-7 years, but I believe that anyone who drives this vehicle should not be concerned about this expense. We only live once, so let us enjoy life to the fullestđđđ
Careful, the L322 model has only BMW engines and electronics for the first four production years, after that they switched over to Jaguar components. The fuel economy for the new non-supercharged engine improved slightly over the BMW's, but is still horrendous.
Maybe you can compromise and get a Toyota Landcruiser?

I never liked Toyotas. I only have a weakness for German cars (Audi A5 and Mercedes Benz CLA 200) and British Range Rovers. The model I had in mind was a 2006 model, but it was a Range Rover that had undergone a facelift. I chose this model because it had few problems and had been replaced with a new body. And it was very class
If you can pay for both the car and its running and repair costs, go for it. :-)
That's not a problem, i canđ. We have a saying: "If you love roses, you have to put up with thorns."đ
I think they suck and have lots of electrical problems. And if you know anything about electrical problems in a car then you already know that itâs expensive to fix even if your electrical problems were in a Hyundai.
They don't have the best reputation for reliability and they're hideously overpriced. And also hideous. But if you want one, and have money burning a hole in your pocket, don't let me put you off.
Lots of modern cars are stylish they're all junk under the hood is the problem. I love the style of the Rivian pickup trucks but I wouldn't buy one.
Absolute trash marketed to people with more money than brains.
Not for me. A Land Rover or Land Cruiser are more durable. The Range Rover is just a posers pretend off road vehicle.
Range Rovers are total piles of shit. My neighbor used to have one and he was always working on it. Buy a Toyota and you'll have much less problems.
I was t-boned by a guy driving a Range Rover, totally his fault.
I like the old school ones. People prize them. The Queen used to work on her own in the field. She learned serving her country.
I heard that they are nightmares for maintenance.
Look good but spend more time on a town truck than the road
A small town? I don't live in a small town, buddy. I live in a huge city, Istanbulđ
Tow truck. They are shit. Everytime I see one they broke down.
Very poor reputation for reliability. They used to be great.
Yes, you are right but i meant L322 modal. This model has chronically few problems
@shiprex Land Rover is exactly the same car as the Range Rover, built on the same assembly line.
Stunningly Stylish
Theyâre cool. I wouldnât mind having one.
I prefer other brands over it
Pieces of shit⌠look good but horrible cars
They look nice.
Piece of shit
Won't make it to 100k
Gorgeous 😍
Overrated
Buddy, I looked at all the cars on the market. There is no more attractive car
I didnât say it wasnât nice, just overrated
Oky allright
My favourite
I like them.
