Anybody live in Florida, South Carolina or North Carolina and hoping for Tropical Storm/Hurricane Imelda to not come our way?

Tropical Storm Imelda is supposed to be coming near the east coast and as of late it seems that it will not touch any of the three states mentioned but it's too early to tell whether the meteorologists' outlook are right.

I'm hoping it doesn't come our way. I can't miss work right now.

I live in north carolina, I'm happy for it. We needed the rain. I do construction work so im off because of it and missing out on money. But I'm also trying to start a plant nursery and flower shop. I'm grateful for the storm, and I'm also grateful it wasn't any worse. I try to be grateful for everything. lives more better that way. If more better can be a thing 😉

Girl, lol. Ever since going through Charley, Frances, and Jeanne back in '04, hurricanes and tropical storms no longer scare me. I prepare accordingly, of course, but I don't panic.

I'm not panicking but I just don't want it to come this way and cut off all the power in my home causing me to miss out on work and have to take pto. Then my vacation time in November will be shortened.

I am in northeast Florida and ur last direct hurricane strike was in 1964. It looks like this storm is heading back out to the middle of the Atlantic.

I heard the other hurricane was pulling it back out to see somehow and that they were supposed to be some wind coming down from the northern US or Canada to blow them both back out deeper in the sea, but I don’t know if that’ll happen But to answer the question, yes I’m hoping it does nothing and just goes away

Yeah I don't think we will get much of anything but some wind and rain. If Imelda doesn't move further inland that is.

Last I heard, Imelda should stay offshore, meaning it will cause some high tides right along the coast, and some rain farther inland. Should be nothing major.
