I can't get too excited about performance cars any more. Modern electric motors and batteries make it way too easy for any random manufacturer to give their latest car as much power as they want, and we're already far beyond the point of it being too much to use on public roads.
A couple of months ago, everyone was excited about the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. That's already been surpassed by the Yangwang U9 Xtreme (3000bhp, 308mph). Next month there will probably be some other new Chinese hypercar.
I do wish Honda made a convertible version of my old Mk8 Civic though...

7 moIm not very tall so I knd of have to drive small cars like a Toyota or mini Cooper. Id love a to drive a big Ford truck like my husband. I always wondered why Americans buy these big trucks, like my father had this company truck VW amarok and when my father asked my father in law what he thought of it he said jokingly it was a cute little truck. Anyway riding in these big trucks I believe its because you get the same performance & comfort of a luxury car for a lower price tag. My husband says more reliability and versatility.

7 moI don't have a dream car. I used to buy and sell cars. Nothing exotic, but I owned a lot of them. After a while they all seemed the same. Sure there were differences, but it didn't matter. As long as they were comfortable, didn't fall apart or make a lot of noise, and got me from point A to point B, it didn't really matter what kind of car they were.
If I won a billion dollar lottery, I would not buy an expensive exotic car. It would be an ordinary car that's comfortable. I WOULD get a top end stereo in it though.10 Reply I'm not really a car guy... and as boring as it may be, my dream vehicle is a 4runner... and I already own two of them.
I have 1994 for wheeling and a stock 2016 as my daily driver.
Maybe, just maybe... I'd get an older classic like a 67 stingray as a project vehicle if I had the time and money for it... but probably not even then. I'd likely just buy more toys instead and spend my time/money that way. lol.

7 moI had expensive sports cars for years. Now I'm perfectly happy with a boring non descript AWD sedan that draws zero attention and requires almost zero of my time and money.
I'm happy I had the experience of driving some great cars but, I came to realize that where I live, short of taking the cars to a track, there is no way to enjoy their potential. And I bought to drive em like I stole em.

7 moI'm Old. I like interior space. I like accessibility. I want to have stoplight Grand Prix power. I want to attract willing MILF's.

I want a sunburn on my bald spot, until I put on my Marine Patrol Cap.

Life is good if you make it so.
