Do you have an old mug you've used for years?

A lot of people have "their" mug. It's usually quite old and despite tonnes of other mugs being in the cupboard, they insist on always using that one. Perhaps they just feel comfortable with that one, perhaps the stains add flavour, or it holds memories. Whoa betide anyone who uses "their" mug. Of course at work many have their own mug so herpe Helen from accounts doesn't use it.

I have a mug with a horned toad image on it. This was given to me by Granny B. The lizard is roughly in the shape of an "H" and she used to use it back when she was a "Harvey Girl" so it's a bit of personal history from a fascinating time from an awesome lady.

I still have a mug that I used at the office where I worked in the late 70s - early 80s. It's in the cupboard, but I rarely use it.

The mugs that I use the most are from the 90s. They are mostly company logo mugs from places I worked. Or from sales reps who seem to have a constant supply of mugs that they hand out to anyone within a hundred feet of a potential customer.

I don’t have an old mug anymore as the one I was really attached to.. got accidentally broken. But I still have this cute little plate that I loved as a kid. I used to tell my parents I’d only eat in that plate! Even after all these years, I still use it once in a while, and I still don’t like the idea of anyone else eating from my favourite plate, lol.

We both left the company since then. And aren’t in touch anymore.
She’s married and probably has kids by now.

I used to work on the stalls for a cat charity, and I bought a cat mug.

The slogan on the mug said, "Life is better with a Cat" could have been 15 years ago.

I still use the mug every day, and it reminds, everyone should have a cat.

My wife doesn't like to share so we never use the same mug. We each have a small collection of mugs that we've picked up over the years, typically as souvenirs of places we've been to.

Yes I do. Years ago I was a volunteer I helped out at Special Olympics. If your not sure what that entails look it up. Well for my work with these kids & adults I was given a mug. All these years later that is my mug no ones uses it but me.

Yes, whenever I make myself coffee I always use the same mug, the same one I've been using for I don't know how many years. I have many mugs but I still use the one.
