I was outside earlier doing some chores and it had just started snowing. Despite my initial dread of an impending, long, cold winter I took a moment to just pause and watch them. Each flake beautiful and unique, so small and delicate as they lay melting in my hand. Sometimes I marvel at the simple, raw beauty of Mother Nature.
I stood feeling them gently falling on my face, tickling my nose and yes, I even caught some on my tongue and I laughed at my own childish behavior. Then I just listened to the soft and gentle sound that only falling snow can make and for just a magical moment there is nothing but me and the universe all as one and all is well.
Some may say, "What drugs are you on?"
I am on a drug called life and my fix is living each moment to the fullest I can.
So, Do you catch snowflakes?
