Can you think of having pros of having a money box at home with physical cash inside?

Personally, I feel like I have better control over it if I have cash as well.
Also it is good for purposes that have to do with emergency.
There have been cases with bank issues here where people were not able to buy stuff in supermarkets by using their card. I have been present when that happened. I don't want to think how it affected hospitals etc.
Cash is more tangible and it makes me feel like I have better control over it.
I use both cash and card though and I have some cash at home for emergency purposes.

I only believe in cash and not in plastic money or virtual funds that are not backed up by any banks.

I can only spend as much as I owe and that prevents me from overspending the kind of money I don't have.

Yes, I do believe in the pros of having a stack of cash at home. Perhaps not in a money box but safely stored somewhere where thieves and other crooks are not thinking of looking should they ever try to break into my place.

For me, cash is the only way to go and I would not dream of having plastic money.

Putting money in a safe is a really bad idea, inflation exists real world cash devalues everyday whether or not you see the effect in real time it's happening. At some point that 100 is 95, 90, etc as things go up in price.
Which is always why you invest money or keep it in a good savings account.
