Remember, just because you can't see them, it doesn't mean they're not there.
Did you know you can sense being stared at while you're sleeping?

Oh yes absolutely! It's definitely an understandable survival skill. But I think if you consider this not from a visual standpoint but from our other senses - hearing, sensng heat, movement, it's understandable to see how the body/brain scans the environment for danger even when sleeping. It could be from a fire or something too not just 'a person'.
Amd notice how children are less likely to wake? Children sleep through loads of danger signals. Fire alarms! Noises. Cos they are such trust in "adults" handling danger they don't self scan for it yet.
(If u know a child that does, they probably have or have had a traumatic experience)
I did know that actually but if I'm at home and my sweetie is there I can sleep through the end of the world and not notice it. If I'm alone her cat stares at me and wakes me up. I think he's an alien.
Women tend to be attuned to sounds like babies crying or fussing, while men tend to react to noises and other sensory inputs that signal danger or potential danger. I have been woken up by the neighbor kid climbing the fence into his backyard, and to raccoons "shopping" for food and shiny toys in the yard, even though in both cases, nothing was loud - my brain understood that even those soft sounds were out of place and I woke up on alert both times.
This is definitely real. When I was about 3 to 5 years old, my brother and I used to sneak up to the doorway of our parents room early in the morning to peek in and see if they were still asleep. No matter how quiet we were, my mom would always wake up when we looked at her face and foil our morning plans for mischief.

One of the scariest things is to realize you were watched and slept through it. A person scared their neighbor when they found out that they could connect to their neighbor's printer. One day at 3 am or so, they printed out a document that read "You look peaceful when you sleep."
I can wake up to the sound of a pin dropping, so I can believe that.
I’m calling BS.
I ain’t been caught yet and my invisibility cloak wore out decades ago.
I usually feel this way when I'm awake not when I'm sleeping.
Recently, I woke up disoriented and decided I must be the Queen Mother. Then I remembered she died and though that, at least on the balance of probabilities, I probably was not. Sleep plays funny games with cognition.
It is certainly true but it turned out to be the cat.
Much like this
https://www.youtube.com/embed/UUJh25-8oK4Yes I have had that happen a few times in my life.
Yes, you could call it Extra Sensitive Perception.
I sleep with my eyes open :) not completely closed, I'm triggered by the slightest sound.
And I think this sense is more observed in females than in males.
As a psychic I know this. Some martial arts teach this.
Yes, I have heard of that.
I can and I can also sense ghost are aroimd.
Wow ok hmmm 🤔
