Anybody else refer to making things fit in a tight spot as 'playing tetris'?

You may have tried to fit a bunch of things into a tight space like maybe a moving van or putting a bunch of things tightly in a box. Do you ever refer to this activity as 'playing tetris?'

Yes. While not a core component of my job in live events, packing the truck inevitably is part of the gig. I'm not in the truck or pushing cases nearly as much as I used to, but we still refer to it as a game of tetris sometimes. We need to fit a certain amount of gear in a tight space, so every little bit of efficiency counts!

I do, actually, yeah.

Whenever someone asks me to help them move, assuming I'm willing, my response has always been, "Sure, I'm great a Tetris-ing a moving truck."

Unsurprisingly, most people also think I'm lame, lol
